Bye Bye Summer...š

It seems like school just ended yesterday, doesn't it?
Hey GEM girls! Does this summer feel like it's flown by, or is it just me? It's kinda funny, I thought my summer was going to be long and boring, but it turned out to be otherwise!
Summer is a time to relax, have fun, and get caught up with all the things you can't do during the school year.
What did you do this summer?

All sorts of random stuff...
As we get back into the school year, I just want to remind you all not to lose the things you learned, the way you grew, and the connections you made over the summer. You see, it's really easy to forget all the things God has done for us. One thing I've been doing recently is keeping a list of the amazing ways God has guided me this summer. It helps me remember that even though sometimes I feel like God is far away or I don't understand what is happening in my life, God has never let me down and He will never let you down either.
"Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you." Deuteronomy 31:8
Remember to keep a look out for the blessings, large and small, that God showers on you everyday!

He's so good. Although there were harder times this past summer, I'm ever so grateful that God never gave up on me (He'll never give up on any of us!!) and drew me closer to Him through it all. God is just so beautiful!
This summer has absolutely flown by for me too. But even though it went by soooo fast, Iāve still been able to see Gods blessings in the way Heās been leading me closer to Him, and also in the new friends Iāve made. Itās been really cool being able to look back and see to the mountains crossed, the wounds healed, and the grace and patience shown to me. He is so good! ššš
